We gather together every week to worship God and know Him better through the preaching of the Bible. Our worship services are designed to honor God, and help people. We are always expecting guests and will do our best to welcome you and make you feel at home. An average service starts with a greeting, followed by a couple of congregational songs, and a few announcements about upcoming events and opportunities. We then continue with a 30-40 minute sermon and one additional song. Occasionally we enjoy special music prepared by our choir and other groups.
We offer a nursery service for children ages 0-3. Our Maximum Impact Children’s program is for children k-6th grade. This service includes Bible teaching, singing, and fun games and activities.
Our main worship service begins at 10:30am. We recommend you plan to arrive at least five to ten minutes before the service begins to have plenty of time to get seated.
There is no dress code at Dearborn Baptist Church. While some people dress up, many attend in more casual attire. Our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable.
We use the King James Bible for all of the English teaching and preaching at Dearborn Baptist Church. If you do not have a Bible we would love to give you one as a gift!
Our musical worship prioritizes participation over performance. While we occasionally have special music performed by a choir or group, we prefer live, congregational singing. To this end, we sing a mix of classic and modern hymns with live accompaniment by our orchestra. Lyrics will be clearly visible on the screen and hymnbooks are always available.
